Teen gets 44 years for beating woman

HAMILTON, Ohio - A judge has sentenced an Ohio teenager to 44 years in prison for his part in the torture and beating of a mentally disabled woman.

Cheyenne Blanton, 17, was sentenced yesterday in Butler County Common Pleas Court.

Blanton and Joseph Nagle, also 17, were accused of binding 19-year-old Ashley Clark in February and beating her for several hours. Prosecutors said the teens shaved Clark's head and soaked her in water before making her walk barefoot outside in the snow.

Blanton and Nagle each pleaded guilty to a number of charges.

Nagle's sentencing is set for Oct. 14. He could receive up to 59 years in prison.

Good! Im glad to hear she got 44 yrs and him 59 yrs. This is a terrible story...what they did to that poor girl. My heart goes out to the victim!

Finally, a just and sensible response to a horrible crime committed in this country. Preying on a disabled woman won't be looked at favorably by other inmates, and it's most satisfying to know both of these cretins will be very popular on the prison's social calender. Better learn to sleep with one eye open, boys.
