43 SCARY STUFF!

43 SCARY STUFF!

Commercial drivers [the one’s who drive for hours every day and make their living that way] have a long list of things that they have to do to maintain their safety and good driving habits.

Here is the regulations pertaining to just the number of hours that they can drive at any one time and how to record them;

This says nothing about their vehicle pretrips, safety courses and evaluations that they have to do on a regular bases.

When these drivers neglect to keep their safety standards up, they become a hazard to themselves and everyone around them and many times a lot of those drivers are not up on their driving skills.

Now, just remember these things the next time you’re meeting or passing one of these transport trucks and give them a little more attention for your own safety. They are big enough to kill you and your passengers quickly.

Scary stuff? You bet but you can do something about it; drive safely.

Blog: Always Learning

Hi. I am Stephen Porter; a Christian who is also a normal everyday working person. I have been a Christian for over 30 years. God has gone to a great deal of trouble to let us know Him intimately and to help us understand His way of doing things, so this blog is simply my attempt to help you know and understand God in today's ordinary world. I will not argue with anyone but I will try to expand on your understanding by answering as many questions as my time will allow.
