So here's a funny story. A video game player went to a conference called SXSW and while he was away his house was burgularized. Among the items stolen was his Xbox. So he bought a new Xbox and signed into Microsoft's Xbox live service, which is very similar to MSN in that if your computer were stolen you could continue to use the same hotmail or MSN messenger account on your new system.
Lo' and behold the theif contacted our hero over Xbox and demanded a ransom for the return of the Xbox.
Well... that gave our hero a way of identifying the theif and he contacted the police. The police seemed disinterested so he posted the story on Digg. The Digg story brought about the full fury of the prepubescent internet's wrath and fury on the would be Xbox kidnapper with hilarious results.
Click here to read the hero's blog for a full accounting (including pictures and audio) of the extent of the theif's stupidity.

There are two truths in this world that I would consider to be undeniable.
The first would be that Jaleel "Steve Urkell" White would be an absolutely horrible rapper.
The second would be that if Jaleel "Steve Urkell" White would make a wholly ineffective abstinence spokesperson.
The only saving grace of this video, disturbingly called "Content Under Pressure", is that it was made during a decade where people just didn't know any better - at least that's what I'd like to believe.

Yahoo has reported that we are all going to die soon. Apparently there is a pair of really inconsiderate stars that have "the potential to burn worlds from thousands of light-years away".
Even the original death star, of Star Wars fame, had to get close to its target before cuing the dramatic music.

Despair.com is a great find. It's a clothing and accessory site that empowers you to do what the rest of the world has been doing for quite some time, enjoying your misery.
The build your own calendar feature is also a bonus, especially the ability to customize the text appearing for individual dates. Now you can have the comedic forsight to label the day after next year's Valentine's Day "Sore Monday".
Bless your emo heart.

This site has actually been around for awhile but apparently I wasn't cool enough to know about it until very recently. The site is called MsDewey.com, it's a microsite built by Microsoft that features a "sassy" lady who comments on your search query before supplying you with three spam entries.
But then again who's actually using this site for searching? It's the perfect search engine for those times you want to search and your parents aren't home. Maybe put on a little Barry White and make yourself comfortable.
Try searching for "I Love You". Real women don't have a chance.

True story. Ally was a groundbreaking show for its time. Not only was the show full of strong female characters; they were willing to do their business in the same bathroom as men.
I believe strongly that Ally McBeal was the flashpoint for the phenomenal growth of the unisex bathroom. Until that show hit the airwaves women were largely content to go where no man has gone before.
More than just a cost cutting measure, the unisex bathroom offers untold opportunity for personal growth. Men have begun washing their hands and women have embraced the efficiencies that come with urinal use.
These are exciting times.

Hooray chicken! Pennsylvania's local news is having a field day reporting about the consumer backlash over a new advertising campaign that uses the slogan "Crispy Frickin' Chicken". I will warn you, this story isn't pretty - the pun "fowl language" was deployed indiscriminitly.
The best part? The name of the store running the controversial ad? Sheetz.
Too easy.
