Victoria Park craft fair under way today

Huge fair one of the events of the year for arts and crafts lovers
One of the most hotly anticipated craft fairs of the summer season kicks off today.
Turner's Victoria Park Arts & Crafts Fair opens at 2 p.m. and runs until 8:30 p.m. this evening.
The fair continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Organizers Greg and Claudette Turner expect more than 200 different artisans to grace about 180 different booths over the three-day event, offering a huge variety of products, from pottery and jewelry to edible delicacies and works of art.
This is the 28th edition of the annual show, which draws artisans from as far away as Manitoba.
The craft fair is held outdoors, rain or shine, in Victoria Park -- north of St. George Street and bordered by Weldon, Cameron, John and Park Streets. Admission is $4 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
