Transit Publishing says it has signed a deal with Anderson -- who divides her time between Toronto and Los Angeles -- for "David Carradine: The Eye of My Tornado."

The book is scheduled for release in June 2010, a year after Carradine's death.

Anderson was married to Carradine for three of the six years in which she was his personal manager.

Transit Publishing says the book will detail what she felt was his "dark side" and his "deviant behaviour."

Carradine was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room on June 4. He was 72.

A private pathologist who examined his body has agreed with Thai authorities that Carradine died of asphyxia.

Anderson, whose recent film and TV credits include "Desperate Housewives" and "Wild Hogs," has already published several children's books.

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- Trial dates have been set for two eastern Ohio police chiefs accused of snooping on a surrogate mother for actress Sarah Jessica Parker and actor Matthew Broderick.

Martins Ferry Chief Barry Carpenter and Police Chief Chad Dojack from neighbouring Bridgeport are accused in an alleged scheme to take things from the Martins Ferry home of the woman who recently carried twins girls for Parker and Broderick, according to WTOV-TV.

Carpenter's trial was set for Nov. 16 and Dojack's for Jan. 12 in Belmont County Common Pleas Court.

A special prosecutor said the chiefs, who are charged with several felonies, tried to sell items to celebrity photographers.

Carpenter and Dojack have pleaded not guilty.
