Seastones Gallery is exhibiting the following artists during the month of December. Hans Durstling, Grace Ward, Georgette Bourgeois, Charlaine Gauthier, Cathy Linfield and Maurice Henri. Other featured works include artistic wooden bowls by Rick Gallant, pottery by Sylvia Bell, hand-molded beeswax candles by Kurt and Katharina Zeltner, framed photographs by Shawna Gagne and hand made gemstone jewelry. A Christmas Tree display will be held at the Cumberland County Museum until Dec. 19.

La Galerie bleue is holding a public opening Tuesday, Dec. 1. Artists represented include Donald McGraw, Jean-Baptiste Comeau, Edmond Theriault, Paulette McGraw and Sito Bito. Le Galerie bleue is temporarily located at 331 Mountain Rd. It will be opening by appointment by calling 875-3310.

Galerie Sans Nom is exhibiting Jalkeilla Taas (Up and About Again) by Maarit Suomi-Vaananen and Scenes From a Secret World by Amalie Atkins until Friday, Dec. 11. The opening will be held the first Friday of the exhibition at 8 p.m. Admission to all exhibitions are free and galleries are open Tuesday to Friday, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. or by appointment on Saturday. Galerie Sans Nom and Salle Sans Sous are located on the main floor of the Aberdeen Cultural Centre, 140 Botsford St.

Cumberland County Museum and Archives is exhibiting a Christmas Tree Display until Saturday, Dec. 19 during open hours. Admission is $3 per person and $5 per family. Moncton's Galerie Sans Nom at 140 Botsford St. presents an exhibit by photography students from Université de Moncton's visual arts department entitled Etre et Par. The Moncton Public Library is featuring the art works of Jeanne LeBlanc Mullin and Shayla Parreault Newcomb as part of the Mentor Series during the month of November. The glass display cases will feature Belly Castings by Lidia Branch during the month of November. During the month of December, the acrylic and watercolor paintings of Dianne Ryan. The Irish Room, located in historic Thomas Williams House is open every Friday from 9 a.m.-noon and from 1-3 p.m. and houses genealogical and local history materials related to the Irish in southeastern NB. London-Wul Fibre Arts is hosting the fibre-based works of Moncton native Joanna Close. The exhibit features a series of panels that explore geography and landscape. Gallery 78 presents the work of jeweler Kristyn Cooper and the abstract paintings of Acadian artist Lionel Cormier beginning Friday, Dec. 4.
