Atlantic Dance Festival is this weekend

A Celebration of Women In Dance is this year's theme for The Atlantic Dance Festival being held Aug. 8-10 at Theatre L'Escaoutte in Moncton.

All events are at Theatre L'Escaoutte, 170 Botsford St. The opening show featuring Louise Cavalier is on Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults or $20 for seniors and students. The gala on Saturday night featuring all artists is at 8 p.m. and is the same price as the opening show. Sunday's schedule includes a dance showcase at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The closing show is 4:30 p.m. Cost for all events on Sunday is $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.

Festival passes can be bought for all events and are $75 for adults and $65 for seniors.

Tickets are available at the theatre, Frank's Music, The Capitol Theatre box office or online at www.admission.com.
