ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - A bottle dropped over the side of the Bell Island Ferry in Newfoundland last summer has been found an ocean away.

The bottle, which travelled for seven months and 13 days, was picked up in Scotland.

Nine-year-old Heather Mackey was very surprised when she recently received a letter from a person on the Orkney Islands.

Her father Jim says Heather plans to write back adding she might even visit someday.
