Shania tops 'most beautiful' Canadian list

TORONTO - Country star Shania Twain has been rated the most beautiful Canadian by entertainment magazine "Hello!"

She topped a list of the 50 most beautiful Canadians compiled by the editors at "Hello!"

Editor Ciara Hunt says Twain was an obvious choice because she has an alluring beauty that women warm to and men simply adore.

She says they chose Twain to celebrate her success as an artist, woman and "divine beauty."

Singer Avril Lavigne, actor Kiefer Sutherland and hockey star Sidney Crosby also made the list.

Liberal MP Ruby Dhalla also made the list, amid controversy she faces over unproven allegations from two family caregivers -- accusations she denies.
