Opera NB presents Dieppe soloist

Opera New Brunswick presents a solo recital by Dieppe soprano Carol Léger next Thursday at St. Paul's United Church in Riverview.

Carol is one of this year's winners of Opera New Brunswick's 'Young Artist Recital Series' competition and won the vocal category at the recent Provincial Music Festival held in Woodstock. She will next compete at the national level in Saskatoon in August.

Carol also was awarded the Lilian Taylor Cormier scholarship at the Greater Moncton Music Festival in April.

Accompanying Carol is nationally recognized Moncton pianist Nhat-Viet Phi, who currently holds the position of accompanist at the faculty of music at l'Universite de Moncton.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. Adults $10 Seniors and students $5.
