Daybreak will perform at the Highfield Baptist Church, 290 St. George St., tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. Free-will offerings will be accepted. Snacks and refreshments will follow.
New to you sale
The fall New to You Sale will be held today from 8:30 a.m. to Noon at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, 28 Woolridge Ave., Riverview.
You will find good used clothing for all ages, shoes, toys, books and miscellaneous items, along with muffins and coffee. Please use the basement entrance.
Pancake breakfast
The Humphrey Memorial United Church is holding a pancake breakfast on today from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Free-will offerings will be accepted. There will also be a UCW Bake Table.
Everyone is welcome.
Turkey supper
The annual fall turkey supper at the Lower Turtle Creek Ladies Aid Hall, 842 Route 910, Lower Turtle Creek, will be held today from 4 to 6 p.m.
Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children aged six to 10. Admission is free for children five and under.

Family yard sale
The Moncton Christian Academy families are having a gigantic yard sale today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Moncton Wesleyan Church gym, 945 St. George Blvd.

Church supper
First North River Baptist Church will be holding a church supper of pancakes, beans, potato scallop and sausages today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Christian Education Centre, 374 Wheaton Settlement Road, Intervale. Free-will donations accepted.

An encounter prayer meeting will be held tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the Highfield Baptist Church.

Church supper
St. Jude's Church is holding its annual roast beef supper tomorrow from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Salisbury church basement.
Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 years and under. Tickets are available at the door only.
Cemetery benefit
The Monteagle Cemetery benefit service will be held tomorrow at the Second North River United Baptist Church, 3327 Route 112, at 2 p.m. with special music by the men's choir and refreshments served afterwards.
Tax receipts will be given on request.

Ladies coffee party
Ladies are invited to attend a Come To The Fair coffee party on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 9:30 a.m. at the Beausejour Curling Club, 80 Lockhart Ave., Moncton.

Bake sale
Trinity Anglican Church Women will hold a bake sale on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Ed's Hall, 4955 Main St., Dorchester.
The sale will include pies, cookies, cakes, fudge, jams, jellies, pickles and more. Proceeds from the event will go toward church repairs.

Religion explored
For those wanting to stretch their spirituality, Small Groups provide an opportunity to explore God's presence in our daily lives and interests. The theme for Small Groups this year is Change is Good. Newcomers welcome.
Group options this year include: Seismic shifts -- Leading in Times of Change, presented by Dr. Phil, and Dynamics of Transformational Change; God in the Chaos, presented by Rev. Gayle MacDonald of Humphrey Memorial United Church.
Small Groups will be formed and meeting times established at the inaugural session. The kickoff meeting is Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. at Wesley Memorial United Church in Moncton.

Today's teens
A seminar for parents and teens looking at the lives of young people today, with discussions on such topics as suicide, drugs, sex and violence and the trends in modern media will be offered Friday, Oct. 30, at the Hillside Baptist Church, 2290 Mountain Rd., Moncton, from 6:30 to 10 p.m.. Guest speaker is Bret Ullman.
The seminar is of interest to teens, parents of teenage or pre-teenage children and people who care about teens. Cost is $5 for students, $10 for parents and $20 for a family.
Prayer breakfast
Dr. Rick Tobias, founder and CEO of Yonge Street Mission in Toronto, will be the keynote speaker for the 12th Annual Tri-City Mayors' Prayer Breakfast Friday, Oct. 30, from 7:15 to 9 a.m. at the Crystal Palace Convention Centre, Dieppe.

Quilt show
The Humphrey Memorial United Church is holding a quilt show Saturday, Oct. 31, featuring the Heritage Quilt (commissioned by Maritime Conference of the United Church) as well as other art and handwork projects.
The show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

118th birthday
Wesley Memorial United Church is celebrating its 118th birthday on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 2:30 p.m.
The celebration includes an afternoon worship with special music.
The winner of the Maritime prize for excellence in preaching will deliver the award-winning sermon Change is Good. A reception will follow in the gym.

Evangelistic services
Grace Baptist Church, Homestead Road, is having special evangelistic services with the Herbster Evangelistic Team from Independence, MO., who will partner with local pastors in preaching revival to Christians and pointing the lost to Christ.
