Promoter Gillett Entertainment Group of Montreal announced the opening acts this week for three shows coming soon to Moncton.

Pegged to open for Stone Temple Pilots on Nov. 23 at the Moncton Coliseum is MAdM, Melissa Auf De Maur. The singer-songwriter is a former member of Hole and Smashing Pumpkins, and she is planning to release her sophomore solo album, Out of Our Minds, next year.

Added to the Colin James show at the Capitol Theatre on Feb. 2 is Toronto singer Suzie McNeil. McNeil, who made a name for herself as one of the finalists on 2005 reality show Rock Star: INXS, released her debut album, Let Go, last year.

Opening for Guns N' Roses on Feb. 3 at the Moncton Coliseum will be former Skid Row vocalist and solo artist Sebastian Bach and Canadian rockers Danko Jones.

Bach released his latest solo effort Angel Down in 2007. Danko Jones' last album, Never Too Loud, was released in 2008.
