N.S. to clean up harbour

HALIFAX - Parks Canada intends to clean up six hectares of contaminated land on McNab's Island, in Halifax harbour.

News media reported yesterday that recent soil and water samples found petroleum contamination in unsafe levels on parts of the island.

Parks Canada declined comment yesterday on the cleanup.
