
Track athletes up for honours

Jean-Marc Doiron of l'Université de Moncton, Cory MacIntosh of Athlétisme Chaleur and Adam Kellar of the Windsor Lancers are finalists for Athletics N.B.'s senior male athlete of the year award.
Awards will be presented at the annual gala Nov. 28 in Oromocto.
Alison Howatt and Kelsey Daley of Fredericton are nominated for senior female athlete of the year.
Junior male nominees are: Caleb Jones and Barry Britt of Saint John and Jason Bouchard of Fredericton. Junior female nominees are: Genevieve Lalonde of Moncton, Nadine Frost of St. Stephen and Sarah McMullin of Fredericton.
Juvenile male nominees: Alex Doucet of Chaleur, Mike Jacobs and Adam Gaudes of Fredericton and Mitch Quigg of Saint John. Juvenile female nominees: Naomie Maltais of Restigouche, Lindsay Gauvin of Chaleur and Grace Annear of Saint John.
Bantam male nominees are: Anthony Cormier, Joshua Shanks and Ben Fowler of Saint John and Andrew LeBlanc of Fredericton. Bantam female nominees are: Abbigail Melanson of Athlétisme Sud Est Athletics (ASEA) of Moncton, Leah MacAulay, MacKenzie Amos and Vivian Sheehan of Fredericton.
Meanwhile, Moncton's Adam Stacey and Joel Bourgeois of Grande-Digue are finalists for the senior male cross-country athlete of the year. Kelsey Daley is the lone nominee in the female category.
Junior male nominees: Ryan Cassidy of Moncton and Barry Britt of Saint John. Junior female: Genevieve Lalonde of Moncton and Lynette Manuel of Fredericton.
Coach of the year finalists are: Jennifer Butler of Chaleur, Jules Comeau of ASEA, Greg Allen and Yvan Pelletier of Fredericton.
